This week's guest on "Report from Santa Fe" is Dr. Richard Wolff, professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is the author of many books, including "Occupy the Economy," and "Capitalism Hits the Fan: The Global Economic Meltdown and What to Do About It." Wolff is often a guest on television news programs and has appeared on a variety of programs with hosts such as Bill Maher, Charlie Rose, Bill Moyers, and Amy Goodman, as well as writing for a number of publications and websites. Wolff hosts a weekly radio program on economics and society, Economic Update, in New York City. Dr. Wolff reminds us that our current economic situation “is the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
