What are the International Intensions of Red China? And What About Chiang Kai-shek? (1955)
About this film
It seems inevitable to both panel guests that Red China will try to extend her borders of control to other parts of Asia. The most important factor for Red China is her alliance with the USSR. A piece of propaganda film shows ceremonies that went with the signing of a Sino-Russian treaty. As the best way to check Red China, Mr. Rostow favors strengthening the neighboring countries that are free. He also feels that American policy should aim not at supporting Chiangs Nationalist aims, but at brining Formosa in to the arc of Free Asia. (Description adapted from documents in the NET Microfiche)
