About this film

The guests this episode are Hans J. Morgenthau, director, the Center for the Study of American Foreign Policy, the University of Chicago; SLA Marshall, Brigadier General, editorial writer and military critic for the Detroit News. Morgenthau and Marshall join Louis Lyons to study the US foreign policy. They believe it is too divorced from military policy which is oriented mistakenly toward the US economic and financial policies. They believe the most important problem today is the use of force, and they discuss a possible atomic war which they call universal suicide.
