The special guest this episode is Dr. Charles V. Mange. Dr. Mange is assistant professor of Audiology and Speech Pathology at Syracuse University. He has worked as assistant to the chairman of the Committee on Clinical Certification, American Speech and Hearing Association, and as a graduate assistant at Pennsylvania State University. The life blood of our modern existence is the ability to communicate. Unfortunately, there are more children with speech handicaps than there are children who are blind, deaf or crippledcombined. Dr. Mange points out the various kinds of speech handicaps and the training which is given to help these children express themselves and find satisfaction in life.
