About this film
A period piece sci fi adventure from American International that's not as bad as its reputation nor is it so bad it's good. It's sort of in between the two. Vincent Price does the best he can with the material at hand, and Tab Hunter proves looks alone do not make the actor. Herbert the Rooster holds her own. (sic) The ridiculous plot was supposedly based on Edgar Allan Poe's "City in the Sea." a.k.a. "City in the Sea" (UK) CAST NOTE: Herbert the Rooster is a chicken.
