Dr. Reifler takes a look at the long and short term effects and implications of Alzheimer's. He discusses the first signs of the disease and treatments which are helping those who are living with it. Medicine has found that in Alzheimer's it is the caregiver who usually bears the brunt of the disease. Originally broadcast on UWTV as a segment from Upon reflection in 1985.
