1936 directed by B. Reeves Eason and Joseph Kane starring Ray “Crash” Corrigan, Louis Wilde, Monte Blue, William Farnum, Boothe Howard, Raymond Hatton, C. Montague Shaw, Lee Van Atta and Smiley Burnette with Lon Chaney Jr. Naval officer Crash and brassy, female reporter Diana take Professor Norton’s rocket submarine in search of the source of a string of earthquakes. A precocious kid hops aboard and together they discover an underground civilization in the midst of civil war. These eps have been sharpened a bit.
