National Archives description "511' Flight line shown on a heading 40 degrees magnetic on the W side of Hiroshima. Flight line on a heading approx. 20 degrees magnetic. Note: Hiroshima aerial coverage, total of 20 passes was obtained by flying the first 2 passes on a heading of 40 degrees magnetic and the last 18 passes on a heading of 20 degrees magnetic. Flight lines were flown successfully from the W side of the city to the E side at an altitude of 750' and 1300'. 86' Otake (AAF Target 90:30-2121). Flight line flown on a heading approx. 165 degrees magnetic. Four passes flown from E to W. Oshima (AAF Target 90:32-1884). Flight line flown on a heading of 18 degrees magnetic. Tokuyama (AAF Target 90:32-674). Flight line flown on a heading 275 degrees. First run on N side of refinery, second on S side. 90' Kudamatsu (AAF Target 90:32-672). Flight line flown on a heading of 355 degrees magnetic. First run on S side, second run on N side. Hikari (AAF Target 90:32-671). Flight line from a heading of 307 degrees magnetic.
