National Archives description "Agriculture Phase: The following action took place approx. 700 feet from zero. It shows a citizen of Nagasaki scraping away the rubble by making round holes about two feet in depth. Into this hole, he has put fertilizer (human feces) mixed with rotten straw and then covered with a layer of dirt. He continues this process until he has several dozen holes made. After the final layer of earth he places a small stick in top of each mound to identify it. Several months later he will return to plough up the fertilizer to mix with the earth then he will plant wheat. 10' MS Removing rubble and digging holes. 5' MC Same as above, different angles. 6' CU Removing human excrement from concrete reservoir and pouring into a pail. 15' CU Placing fertilizer into hole, adding rotten straw followed with a few inches of earth, and on top of that he adds some more fertilizer. 25' MS Final phase - pouring fertilizer into hole, adding rotten straw, more earth until it formed like a mound, then he places a small stick on top to identify it.
