"On the plight of students in war-ravaged nations after World War II and efforts of UNESCO to help them. Flashbacks show "underground" schools in occupied countries during WW II. Students of foreign lands write letters telling of their situation. Books and other supplies for students overseas are crated for shipment at a New York City warehouse. A tubercular Greek girl student in Athens is aided by UNESCO in getting a cure. A montage of pictures of French, Chinese, and Thai students is shown."
