This print is sharper than the existing IA copy. The first great malevolent space alien thriller and it turned out to be a super carrot played by James Arness, supported by a good cast of relative unknowns. Excellent production with great attention paid to detail. Produced and secretly directed by Howard Hawks. A true classic that holds up exceptionally well today. TRIVIA; Partly filmed in Glacier National Park and at a Los Angeles ice storage plant. NOTE: Beware of prints that run less than 87 minutes.
