Hammer Films looked at the five original Universal Pictures mummy flicks, and picked the plot elements they liked for this unoriginal edition. In other words, there isn't anything here that you haven't seen before and done better elsewhere. In addition, whomever was responsible for lighting the tomb opening scene should have been fired on the spot
