About this film
The Display Scope is the pyrotechnic new cold war epic with that cool and easy urban retro lounge vibe from Lyn Faber (or whatever; Lyndon Lorenz. You figure it out) featuring high-tech national defense systems and totally awesome stuff blowing up! The original music was laid down in GarageBand with heavy dippage into stock beats off an AMG disc. Once all that music stuff was mushed up round all real good, it was synchronized to the video footage in iMovie HD, taking about 30 hours from start to finish. And boy o boy: the free public domain source reels from The Prelinger Archive at www.archive.org sure came in handy: -- On Guard: The Story of SAGE (1956) for just about everything -- Operation Cue (1955) for the mannequins and the stuff blowing up -- DEW Line Story (1956) for the animated USA You know this file is going to be pretty outrageous when viewed in full screen, which means that if you've read it this far, you know what to do.
