The Day After
About this film
Rhodes Patterson (1914-2003) shot this silent short film at Chicago's Grant Park a day after the 1968 Democratic National Convention. While it doesn't depict any violence, the film captures the mood and tensions of the time, as well as a few instances of the "male gaze." From our Rhodes Patterson Collection. Chicago Film Archives owns copyrights to all films created by Rhodes Patterson.
