National Archives description: "Shows activities in the training and service of army nurses. Reel 1 contains brief scenes of nurses working at a field hospital. Shows miscellaneous aspects of nurses' life and training, emphasizing their ruggedness. Reel 2 depicts various nurses' assignments, showing work at the following kinds of hospitals: evacuation, general, field, ship, and debarkation. Gen. Clark decorates nurses. Shows nurses who were prisoners of war. The superintendent of the Army Nurse Corps, Col. Florence A. Blanchfield, asks the audience to buy victory bonds to finance the care of wounded servicemen."
