About this film
'50s sci fi without invading alien monsters or gee-whiz special effects. Instead it has a cerebral screenplay that mostly deals with human nature. Which is why it flopped on the drive-in circuit and is unfairly ignored by many persent-day fans of '50s sci fi. A good cast is headed by Gene Barry. The FX and other production values are adequate for the story. TRIVIA: The alien spaceship interior set and other footage came from "Earth vs the Flying Saucers." CAST NOTE: The deep voice of Dr George Voskovec (phd), who plays the alien, will be familiar to many old timers. Voskovec performed in dozens of radio dramas during the '40s and early '50s. He also appeared in more than 90 film and TV productions.
