1937 U.S. Army Air Corps training film # TF-27 Attack Aviation: Employment Against Hostile Airdromes . Description at the National Archives: "'Enemy' air bases at Anniston and Oxford, Ala., are attacked by two flights of planes in an aerial maneuver. Charts are used to diagram the operation. 'Enemy' planes on the ground are strafed and bombed with parachute-type bombs and the area is sprayed with war gas.
