A phony spiritualist (Mischa Auer) hypnotizes the daughter (Phyllis Barrington) of a wealthy banker (Ralph Lewis) in a scheme to swindle the banker out of his money. A reporter (Earl McCarthy) investigating the swami discovers the plot, determines to expose it.
