When lawyer David Harrison becomes the new District Attorney he asks Linda his secretary to become his fiancé, but soon Linda and her brother are falsely accused of shooting an ex-con that has eyes for Linda, and the ex-con would rather see Linda go to prison than to let her become the new D.A.'s wife.
