An adaptation of Maurine Watkins' 1924 play "Chicago," which was loosely based on two real murder trials. Filmed before in 1926 as "Chicago," and remade in 2002, again as "Chicago." TRIVIA: Stanley Kubrick said "Roxie Hart" was one of his ten all-time favorite films.
