National Archives Identifier: 78607 Description from National Archives: "1) MS Red-headed nurse, wearing towel saying U.S.N., has hair combed in beauty parlor at Pearl Harbor. NOTE: This is one of the nurses liberated in the Philippines. 2) MS Hawaiian girl shampoos hair of Navy nurse. 3) CU Nurse as her hair is shampooed. 4) MS Nurse making up before mirror, shooting toward reflection in mirror. 5) CU Nurse looks in hand-mirror, smiles. 6) HS-CU Nurse puts on new shoes. 7) MS Nurses grouped for interview in lounge of Aiea Hospital, Hawaii. 8) MS Nurses inspect brassieres, panties, shirts etc. that they fashioned themselves while incarcerated."
