National Archives description: "1) MS Marines bathe in natural warm springs on Iwo Jima. 2) MS Japanese raid. 3) GV Beachhead area showing many landing craft on beach. 4) MS Tractor pulls trailer from beached LCM. 5) MS-CU Marines clean & repair 30 cal. machine gun. 6) MS Marines load ammunition aboard dukw in beached LCT. 7) MS Marines load supplies aboard LVT on beachhead. 8) MS Marines exit beached LCT, many supplies stacked on deck, BG. 9) MS-CU-Pan Damaged landing craft on beachhead -SV. 10) MS LCM approaches & beaches, Marines exit. 11) MS Mobile crane unloads beached landing craft & clears wreckage from beachhead -SV."
