National Archives description "1) GV Two Japanese planes pass overhead midst tracers. 2) MS USS TICONDEROGA underway, smoking. 3) LS Showing large explosion on USS TICONDEROGA. 4) MS USS TICONDEROGA underway in flames, men on flight deck FG. 5) CU Men chop and repair flight deck around large hole caused by bomb-SV. 6) MS USS TICONDEROGA underway smoking-SV. 7) LS-MS-CU Men on flight deck play hoses in hole caused by bomb hit. 8) HS Taken through hole in flight deck showing man in gas mask working on hangar deck (very smoky). 9) GV TICONDEROGA underway, smoking, men at 40MM gun mounts FG. 10) LS Iowa class BB underway, flak burst in air BG. 11) LS CV on horizon smoking, flak burst in air BG. 12) LS CV on horizon smoking, large smoke column rises from explosion.
