National Archives description: "1) GV Interior of communication room as radiomen receive and type radio messages, group gathers about man as he types certain message on typewriter officer takes completed message and walks out of scene (several retakes on this). 2) CU Radio receiver. 3) HS Superstructure deck on USS MISSOURI, Japanese surrender delegation lined up before table on which surrender document is laid out, Gen. MacArthur stands behind table and watches as Japanese officers sign still and motion picture cameramen take photographs FG and BG. Russian officers attach their signatures also French, British and Dutch. 4) HS Gen, MacArthur, Fleet Adm. Nimitz and other high ranking officers climb ladder, enter doorway-SV. 5) MS Gen. MacArthur converses with another officer at rail. 6) HS Japanese delegation as they leave the ship, descend gangway ladder. QUALITY: GENERALLY GOOD."
