Listed at the National Archives as "Japanese newsreel, 04/27/1953" National Archives description: " 1) High ranking Japanese naval officer making announcement; several other officers and newsmen around him. 2) HA MLS HMS REPULSE (BB) in dock. 3) MS Name on side of BB. 4) MS Sailor on BB with word, "REPULSE" written on his hat. 5) HMS PRINCE OF WALES (BB) underway. 6) MLS Several Japanese bombers in flight in clouds. 7) A-G LS Manado, Celebes Island being bombed. 8) A-A LS Japanese planes flying over Manado dropping paratroops. 9) MLS Paratrooper coming down; planes and mountains in BG. 10) MS Many Japanese paratroopers gathered on field. 11) MS Many native men on field looking toward camera. 12) MLS Japanese paratrooper in combat uniform advancing thru tropical area. 13) MS Forward part of Japanese bomber in flight. 14) LS Several British cruisers being bombed."
