Second film is a soldier aboard the SS H. G. Blasdel (info is incorrect at National Archives) and the ingenious way he heats a can of rations. This ship was torpedoed and sunk by U-Boat U-984 off the coast of Normandy several weeks later. Third film shows scenes at the Battle of Cherbourg. Patrols, captured German POWs, female French collaborators. Crowd scenes. Forth segment shows soldiers unloading cargo on Utah Beach.
