Percy Kilbride and Marjorie Main are again in the title roles in this 4th of the 9 comedies in the Universal series, not counting their initial appearance in "The Egg and I." The series was hugely popular thanks to the simple formula of presenting innocent family fun with a bit of a kick to it and the perfect casting of Kilbride and Main. Followed in 1953 by "Ma and Pa Kettle on Vacation." NOTE: The trailer for "The Egg and I" is in this collection.
