These 8mm film clips were shot and edited by Al Larvick, during a senior class play rehearsal in 1957 in Valley City, North Dakota. The play is of The Little Dog Laughed, A Comedy in Three Acts. It was directed by the teacher Ella Dahl, who taught drama at Valley City High School among other subjects. Ms. Dahl appears at the beginning and end of this footage. Al's son, Wally Larvick also appears here toward the end of the clip with Ella Dahl and another student, Gloria Harrison. These home movies are part of the Al Larvick Family Film Collection.
