Digitized via Firewire with Canopus ADVC-110 and WinDV Digitally Mastered from the Original Film Negative Classic Animation from Max Fleischer He's a confidant of kings, a bearer of tidings, and an all-around meddler into the goings-on of Lilliput. He's Gabby, the pint-sized town crier who sings his "All's Well" signature tune — and then blabbers and blunders his way into mirthful misadventures. This colorful, richly animated collection of Gabby episodes (each from the year 1940 or 1941) includes: Side One (CAV) : "King for a Day" Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The king fears an assassination plot, so he lets unsuspecting Gabby sit in as ruler! "All's Well" Diapering a bawling baby may not be impossible but it sure is the closest thing to it! "Two For the Zoo" What's a Rubberneck Kango? It's trouble that's what, especially when Gabby tries to deliver one to the zoo.
