About this film
This is a dub of the first four episodes of "Kyatto Ninden Teyandee" (or "Samurai Pizza Cats" as what people know what this series is called in North America and Europe) released on VHS (along with VCD?) by Video Square and EVS Entertainment (and later broadcasted on Channel 7) in around the 1990s. The home releases consists of four episodes in one cassette/VCD disc, and the opening and ending themes are played two times per two episodes. There are two things that the dub missed the mark. 1. The introduction of the Nyankees. Before the episode card, you can hear the original Japanese voice acting before the Thai voice acting goes over the audio. And, 2. Some scenes had the original music removed during Thai dialogue, due to either the fact that the dubbing studio didn't have access to the original 16mm negatives, along with the M+E tapes, or that the material is lost media (just like most of the later VHS/VCD releases of this dub). This dub is rare and lost, that most episodes are lost, if someone manages to find the rest of the episodes through the limited VHS and VCD releases and/or the Channel 7 broadcast VHS rips.
