Jackson's Morning Brush, Over the Boulder

About this film

Fiddle and piano, Gaelic 502. Morrison has only three parts for the Brush, like many other old time Irish musicians. Over the Boulder is more properly called The Scotsman Over the Border. It became well known from a recording of the Ballinakill Traditional Dance Players, who called it Carraoe's Jig. It is unfortunate that this record apparently had its hole punched off-center, resulting in a progressively increasing wobble in pitch.
