Yiddish song recorded by Pepi Littman circa 1913, issued on 78rpm disc as "Hot a J ü d a Wabele" on Victor record label, catalog number 67185, originally issued as Parlophone 7025. Probably recorded in Budapest or Lemberg (Polish: Lwow, Yiddish: Lviv), possibly with the orchestra of Gimpel's Lemberg Yiddish Theatre, exact date and location unknown. Recreated in live performance by A Free Yiddish Theatre, 2017, in a free show sponsored by the Arbeter Ring of Northern California at the Jewish Library of San Francisco, video viewable at end of article in The Times of Israel.
