The United Yugoslav Relief Fund of America and the National War Fund/Community Chest seek American contributions. R.1: Map shows Yugoslavia. Scenes contrast pre-and post-war conditions, showing destruction and poverty. New York City traffic where, at the relief fund warehouse and workshop, workers sort and repair donated clothing. AFL-CIO garment workers cut new clothing, enclose sewing instructions, and pack garments for shipment. Women knit sweaters and pack comfort kits. R.2: Shows baling of clothing. Trucks arrive at pier; longshoremen load bales on cargo ship SS Paine Wingate. Montage of hands working on donations. Title asks for contributions."
