National Archives description: "AERONAUTICS TRAINING FILM: On Negro education and aviation training at Tuskegee Institute, Macon County, Alabama. Reel 1: Shows campus founded by Booker T. Washington, farm, John A. Andrews Memorial Hospital, nurses training, carpentry and machine shop classes. Airport; student and instructor inspect and demonstrate Piper Cub. Instructor flies plane; student imitates his actions from rear cockpit. Air cadets in close order drill and Morse code class. Reel 2: Cadets study nomenclature, aerial navigation, meteorology, and Federal aviation law. Students fly heavier aircraft and perform aerobatics. Close-ups of hands operating controls. Student instructor learns precision (stunt) flying."
