1949 directed by Fred C. Brannon starring Clayton Moore, Pamela Blake, Roy Barcroft, Gene Roth, George J. Lewis and Dale Van Sickel as henchman Hodge. Spunky Rita White (Pamela Blake) is determined to bring the telegraph out West and she hires engineer Ken Mason (Clayton Moore), to work on the project. But seedy individual George Crane (Gene Roth) blacksmith of Twin Bluffs, (and also alderman, undertaker and legal advisor) wants the project stopped because, as everyone knows, “the telegraph brings the law.” He and his seedy buddy, Hank Kilgore (Roy Barcroft) do everything they can, including enlisting the aid of Indians whom they communicate with through smoke signals, to stop it. Fortunately, Ken Mason happens to be the grandson of the legendary Zorro…and he loves to play dress-up.
