First and last Sportbike Tracktime school and practice at Nashville Superspeedway in July 2011. The Nashville Superspeedway has announced it will not seek NASCAR races for the 2012 season. The speedway's owner made the announcement Wednesday morning. Dover Motorsports, which owns the speedway in Wilson County, said it has notified NASCAR that it will not seek any race sanctions for 2012. It appears the track will be shutting down next year, and there's a possibility it won't be re-opening.
