National Archives description: "Film made during the Allied offensive of April and May 1943 shows how mines, mine fields, and clear paths are discovered and marked and how mines are removed. Reel 1, German Tellermine No. 1 is demonstrated. Shows methods of removing and deactivating the German "S" mine and the Italian B-4 antipersonnel mine. Reel 2, the Italian B-2 antitank mine, the German Eggbomb, and the N-5 antivehicle mine are demonstrated. Methods of tracing trip wires to mines are shown. A German stick grenade is removed from an abandoned vehicle."
