War Dept Film Bulletin 182: Road Construction And Maintenance In The CBI 1945
About this film
National Archives description "Explosives and heavy equipment are used to cut roads through jungles and across hills in Burma. Natives help carry and move logs, rebuild and widen roads, and blast obstacles. Drainage ditches are installed. Rocks are broken by natives and spread along road beds. Engineers and natives maintain roads by rebuilding those that have been washed out, clearing away slides, and correcting drainage."
