Not the greatest film quality. "Shows the operation and function of the evacuation hospital in the theater of operations." "National Archives description "Reel 1 describes the location, construction, and organization of an evacuation hospital. Troops arrange medical equipment and tents and set up a water supply system. Casualties arrive at the receiving tent. Transfusions are given and X-rays are made. Reel 2, a cast is adjusted on a patient's leg; another patient is carried to the postoperative tent. Shows internal-medicine specialists and nurses on duty; technicians working in the laboratory; and patients eating.
