National Archives description: "Shows how the Quartermaster Corps operates an overseas base salvage depot. Enemy and Allied supplies and equipment are collected and assembled at the depot and repaired by soldiers and natives. Shows how certain items are repaired, including clothing, radio equipment, mess kits, gasoline cans, and picks and shovels. Rubber tires and tubes are inspected prior to their reissue or their return to the U.S. for salvage." National Archives Identifier: 24557
