Video of the F1 Montreal ahead of the Fan Appreciation Day 19 June 2006. Video on the Montreal F1 Track during PreRace preparations in the week before the race, Monday 19 June 2006. We arrived and walked onto the track but after heading towards the Pit area were stopped by a security vehicle and were informed that we could not be on the track. We were then driven in the security vehicle and let out near the Casino that is located on the island, surrounded by the track. We had parked at the Casino in it's parking garage. The video was shot from the security vehicle and most of it is of the pit area where you can see many aircraft shipping containers that had recently arrived. This was originally shot with 8mm analog video tape, now converted to the MPEG4 digital video standard.
