Exscindo Mortalitas [full-length]

About this film

Roughly translated "The Destruction of Death's Grip", this film speculates about some of the events that may have occured in Hades during the three days that Jesus' body was in the tomb. The original 15-second version of this short film was my entry into BrickFilms.com's "EASTER Festival 2007" 15-second film contest. It was voted 5th out of 16 films. This "full-length" version better captures my original vision for the film than did the 15-second version I originally made for the film contest. In the 15-second version, I had to brutally trim the clips down to fit all the action into the time allowed. This version moves at a much more natural and relaxed pace. I've also added title and credit sequences which of course would not fit in the 15-second version. I hope you enjoy.
