Elvis Homecoming 1960 : Sinatra Duet
About this film
1960, Elvis is out if the armed forces and ready to get back the business of exercising his golden voice. His Homecoming performance was done on the Frank Sinatra TIMEX show, in Florida. He sings two songs after his Welcome Home formalities and then does a short duet with Frank Sinatra. Elvis is very good in this performance and Frank is witty and the whole thing is a lot of fun. The quality of the video was low and we did the best we could to bring it onto the 21st Century. There was also a pretty major audio glitch that we ironed out -- hard to spot it unless you know where it is. We've edited it for the Elvis fan leaving out the fluff found in Television in the 1960s. This project was undertaken as a birthday offering to our friend and supporter Ms. S. Ehlers of Washington DC. Thanks to Internet Archive Patron HappySwordsman for uploading the footage we used.
