1946 Erpi short film, Alaska, Reservoir of Resources , released as U.S. Army educational film # EF-193, Alaska. National Archives lists it as 1945 but the film says 1946. National Archives description: "Shows forests and seacoasts; rapids in a stream; lumberjacks at work; salmon migrating upstream; the netting, transfer to barges, and canning and tinning of salmon; placer mining of gold; an airplane being loaded at an airport; reindeer herds; a silver fox farm; ships arriving in a harbor; commercial vegetable gardening; hay being cut and stacked; and Alaskan tourist attractions (icebergs, Indian totems, mountains, and Kodiak bear)."
