A lively 20th Century Fox musical starring Betty Grable and Don Ameche. However it's the supporting players Charlotte Greenwood and Carmen Miranda who often steal the show. Some exteriors were filmed on location in Buenos Aries. CAST NOTES: Carmen Miranda's first American feature film. Betty Grable's 54th screen appearance and the one which finally made her a mega-star. TRIVIA: The first of a series of popular "south of the border" musicals released during the '40s by 20th Century Fox and other studios.
