Darna Vs The Planet Women ( English Subs)
About this film
Darna vs the Planet Women is a 1975 superhero movie from the Philippines. Vilma Santos stars as the bikini-clad Filipina Wonder Woman and her handicapped human alter ego Narda. Darna battles a spaceship full of evil alien women bent on stealing the earth and colonizing it with their own species. She also shows off her disco dancing skills. The Planet Women are all brightly colored- one is wearing blue body paint and a bikini, one wears yellow body paint, etc. The Planet Women's leader, Electra, sports a bright orange wig that would make Bozo proud. This is a weird and fun movie that should please lovers of cult movies and psychotronic cinema. It is sourced from VHS tape, so there is some image softness, but not bad. In Tagalog with English subtitles.
