Dragon Ball (TVB Cantonese Dub) - Opening Intro (VHS Rip)
About this film
Recently found a VHS rip of the OG Dragon Ball intro (from TVB Jade's broadcast). And, no this isn't the usual "Makafushigi Adventure!" they once used back in 1988, it's the first (and second in the world) alternate intro known as "The Faraway Place" sung by Huang Yi, which is used as the OP theme for the Cantonese dub airing on TVB Jade in September 1989 on its afternoon Flash Fax block. They had to use it, because of time constraints that the original OP and ED had. Composer: Liang Rongjun Arranger: Gordon O'Yang Lyrics: Luye ("Green Leaves" in translation) Vocals: Huang Yi Supervisor: Gordon O'Yang
