About this film
Another classic commercial for Coca-Cola, a charming old commercial from February 19, 1954. This aired as part of WABD-TV's "Sense and Nonsense" program, and the complete telecast has also been uploaded by me several months ago. WABD-TV was the flagship station of the legendary DuMont Television Network, one can see a good example of DuMont's always interesting set design in this commercial. Also of note, is that this Coca-Cola commercial was funded by a Coca-Cola Bottling plant, hence the emphasis on "Coke in the Bottle!!!". The exact number of surviving "Sense and Nonsense" telecasts is unclear; There may be a second one. Sorry for the tape glitch half-way during the commercial.
