Arnold describes the AAF's role in the Pacific theater. Shows brief views of bombing raids. U.S. troops land on a beach, infantry advance under P-47 fighter cover, and supplies are flown to British forces in Burma. Gordon Seagrave, British surgeon, treats wounded Nationalist Chinese as Gen. Stilwell looks on. Wounded are evacuated by air. Engineers repair an airstrip on Saipan; B-29's land. Reel 2, Japanese planes bomb the airstrip. Shows U.S. aircraft on an Iwo Jima airstrip; a B-24 and B-29 raid on Nagoya, Japan; Gen.
