Title Cards: E.T.O.: Flying Bomb Sites Mediterranean: Capture of Toulon And Marseille Mediterranean: U.S. Airmen Freed In Rumania E.T.O.: Operations In France And Belgium British 2nd Army American 1st Army American 3rd Army Description at the National Archives: "Part 1 (Reel 1): Buzz bombs fly over Britain and some are downed. Shows remains of various launching facilities in France. Part 2: Artillery shells Toulon, France (August 25). Shows French ships scuttled in the harbor. Troops fight in Marseille and march in a parade. Part 3: Freed U.S. fliers bid goodbye to Russian soldiers and are flown [by the 15th AAF] from Bucharest, Rumania, to Italy. Part 4: Canadian troops occupy Rouen and Dieppe. Shows wrecked German vehicles and emplacements, including camouflaged and dummy pillboxes. Part 5 (Reel 2): Rockets are loaded on British planes and fired at German targets. 9th Air Force P-47's strafe the enemy. Shows German wreckage. Amiens, Brussels, and Antwerp, Belgium, are occupied.
